"I could see the story evolving on the big screen in my mind"A first person account of the illustrated fantasy "Nethermost Regained"... "I am just a very small chunk of pages shy of finished reading your book, so am still in suspense as to the finale. ... With 4 young kids and a job, I don’t read nearly as often as I wish so it has taken me longer than I like, however, I have enjoyed it every minute - especially with the images you have interspersed – and I could see the story evolving on the big screen in my mind. The unique language provides personality to the characters and the action has made it hard to put down each time I had to." Laura Escalante, (Alumni Officer, McMaster University)

Award Winning Author Getty Ambau writes ...Ethiopian writer Getty Ambau, author of the Desta series of books writes about Nethermost Regained ...
"In Nancy Guild Bendall’s Nethermost Regained, the intriguing characters, our own curiosity and wonder and the many questions that pop up in our head as the story develops, become the catalyst that keep us riveted to the novel until the last page... An added bonus, the author has included her own illustrations of the main characters in the book. The expressions in their eyes, the puckered lines in the forehead or the tight lips and raised eyebrows or the happy faces in some these images should allow the readers to have a more intimate relationship with the characters, offering another dimension to the narrative. “Everything you can imagine is real.” ― Pablo Picasso Uniquewriter02 (Annie Watson, United Arab Emirates) writes ...
"There are many ways in which I have found Nancy Guild Bendall’s Nethermost Regained a very interesting read. It is interesting not only because of the simple yet compelling use of language, but also because of the fact that her main character Cait, talks directly to the reader. This is a feature of the author’s writing which in my view increases the grip on the readers’ attention towards the novel. It is as if Cait is writing a diary and knows that it will be discovered by readers who will eventually find out that her life is not worthless after all. The novel is funny and sad at the same time especially when Cait has to change her decisions and the tide of the flow of her thoughts just because she cannot break the heart of and go against her “kind” Aunt Moira. There are many twists to the story too as slowly and gradually Cait’s questions are answered. One after the other, Cait is introduced to people and even animals who draw her nearer to the magical reality of Nethermost. It is interesting to note here that Nancy Guild Bendall does not jump to Nethermost and surprise the readers with an entirely different world from the one they were introduced to first. There is a gradual change in the story which makes more sense than those works or fiction which are just meant to throw fantastical theories at readers. I would recommend Nethermost Regained to other readers as I have thoroughly enjoyed it and I believe it is a very good read." Ebook now available in ePub and MOBI formats.
